As many will be aware, there are a number of projects we hope to formally announce soon, but in the meantime, we’re taking stock of the year we’ve had, how far we’ve come, how quickly we’re growing – and want to thank all of you for your part in this success story.

We also want to acknowledge and thank the team members involved in delivering previous and ongoing projects, as well as the ones who keep the engine ticking along behind all teams.

One such project was the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024. Our team created an excellent offering in short time frames and often challenging environments.

Another win to particularly celebrate is the continued growth of hospitality sales in the Founders Lounge in Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium which is on a streak of sold out fixtures! To see some of the media coverage we have got on LFC recently, click here.

The team behind the Salesforce implementation also deserves a moment in the spotlight, having integrated this entirely new (to us) system in record time ahead of Copa 2024 – more to follow on this next newsletter.

As you will have seen in your inboxes last month, we were thrilled to welcome Roman Meier, Mirvi Guda and Beni Furrer to the team (based in Zurich) as of 1 November. They will be lending their considerable knowledge and experience to the finance team in the Freigutstrasse 20 office location which we have officially absorbed.

Jael Garcia also joined us as Programme Director: Accommodation & Travel Services effective 1 December.

With the “silly season” nearly upon us, HR has asked us to remind all staff that your signed leave forms are due asap. Staff are additionally reminded that you can only carry five days over into the 2025 calendar, excluding any days already earmarked for end-of-year leave.

Closures

There will be a number of office closures to accommodate cultural, religious, and national holidays in December including 16 December (South Africa), 18 December (Qatar), as well as 25 and 26 December and 1 January in many regions.

Access to images

We have been compiling some lovely imagery from our past and current events. Soon you will all receive an email from our photo management library, Photoshelter, inviting you to create an account for yourself. Once you have created an account, you will have access to view and download images from our image library for use in presentations and BEYOND documents.

Please remember NOT to share original files externally with Sales Agents or any other parties as these would be subject to a licensing agreement. If you do want to provide imagery externally for any reason, please email Karen for guidance.

We have a collection of templates (both with and without content) available on our Sharepoint site, which we are regularly adding to and updating.
